Reversal of Fortune

P2 results came out. Serendipitously, I squeezed into the Dean's List. What was more exciting was that, 4 out of 6 people in my study group made it as well. And the other 2 just barely missed. As I had mentioned in my previous post, I was not expecting this and feel somewhat excited.

Now back to reading...

that's great. congrats! would love to hear why you think this is. do you guys just study all the time? hate to use the word... but are there synergies that help you all do well in the classes?

Yes, synergies indeed. Seems like you've picked up the lingo 1 month into P1.

In P1/P2 you need to spend so much time with your group. And if things go bad with the group then you just waste so much time.

We had a people with very strong non-overlapping skills. And we established some group norms so that it was okay to free-ride as long as it was not covered up with BS. And we allowed folks with really strong skills to shine in their areas.

We worked very hard but had time for other things as well.
